February ride in Colorado.
One thing I love about Colorado is between the snow storms, you can get a day that is nice enough to go for a ride! I managed to start my year off with a 22 mile ride, kind of trying to discover some new roads and routes and ways to go.

Valentine's Day Ride!
Heading out on a ride, hoping the weather was as amazing as it was yesterday, Christina and I headed South. Knowing we were going to take the Platte trail, but not really knowing our destination.
While a little chillier than I expected and knowing the head winds on the way back weren't going to be fun, we thought about stopping at the Farmhouse at Breckenridge Brewery but decided to ride on even further South to Living the Dream Brewery.
After turning off a little too early, on Mineral, trying to find our way, fighting serious traffic speeding by us, we were able to make our way under C470 and onto Santa Fe, where, while there were still cars, we were on the shoulder and not trying to ride with them.
After a nice hill and a bumpy road leading into such an industrial area, we made our way to Living the Dream - and thank God, it was open! We dismounted the bikes, locked them up and stopped for a brew.
It may always be like, this, but on this Valentine's Day, this brewery was filled with babies and puppies. EVERYWHERE.
